A Canadian study has revealed that DNA testing on hundreds of bottles of store-brand herbal supplements sold as treatments for everything from memory loss to prostate trouble found that four out of five contained none of the herbs on the label. Instead, they were packed with cheap fillers such as wheat, rice, beans or houseplants. Included in these sellers are Target, Walgreens, GNC, and Walmart.
Our hard earned money is going to this.
Im sitting over here trying to think healthy and take herbal supplements and spend a good chunk of money on them, and as it turns out, most of them aren’t even actual herbal supplements.
Who is left to trust?
Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
This truly is a crooked and twisted generation.
Then again, haven’t we always been?
